There will be Free Shuttles throughout Palisade during Mountain Winefest on Saturday, Sept. 20th. Unfortunately, the Palisade High School parking lot will be closed and unavailable for Winefest traffic. Please use the Taylor Elementary or Mount Garfield Middle School parking lots. If you have any further questions, please call the CAVE & Colorado Winefest office at 970-464-0111

      Hello,

Due to Mountain Winefest being an adult event, all attendees must be 21 or older. I apologize for any inconvenience. If you have any further questions, please call 970-464-0111.

We have reservations for the Wine Maker’s Dinner at the Wine Country Inn on Friday evening. We are arriving a couple days early so we will be eating out alot. Is there some way to find out the menu for the Wine Maker’s Dinner? I have called the Inn but the person answering the phone is not familiar with the event and does not have any information available.

      Hello,

We will have several cider companies that will serve hard cider throughout the park. There are no breweries at Mountain Winefest.

We purchased round trip shuttle tickets to take us from our hotel in Grand Junction to the Wine Fest. Will the shuttle be running all day so that we could go back to our hotel intermittently to drop off purchases and then return to the Wine Fest via the shuttle, or is the shuttle only good for one trip to the Wine Fest and one return trip to the hotel?

      Hello,

The shuttles will leave every 15-20 minutes throughout the day. We do encourage our attendees to utilize our Free, shaded wine storage to store purchases throughout the day. Your shuttle ticket is good for as many trips as you would like to take during the day. Please call the CAVE office at 970-464-0111 if you have any further questions.

You may drive to the park with a vendor or winery parking pass, a handicap tag or a VIP ticket only. It would be easier to be dropped off/picked up at Taylor Elementary and take the free Palisade shuttle to the park.

Why is the Colorado winefest discriminatory toward parents with young child? I have been to wine festivals in other states and always been allowed to take my children. I think you need to find away to change your policies because your missing out on more money and I will not be able to experience this event for many years to come.

Thank you for your feedback. Colorado Mountain Winefest is the states largest and oldest wine festival celebrating an adult beverage. Safety is our highest priority which is why we no longer allow any attendees under the age of 21. With almost 6,000 attendees in the park on Saturday, having children present is no longer feasible. If you have any further questions or comments, please contact he CAVE office at 970-464-0111.
